USF med school ranks high on Hispanic enrollment - Tampa Bay Business Journal:

USF ranked No. 22 among the 25 schoolws on a list published in the June issues of Hispanic Outlook inHighert Education. Based on 2007 figures from the , 10 percent, or 45 of 458 medical students, at USF are Hispanic, the universitty said in a release. Nationally, Hispanic male studentss outnumber Hispanic female students at 15 of the top 25medicapl schools, but at USF Hispanic women are in the majority, with 25 womehn compared to 20 men, the release said. “A diverse student body enriches the educational environment of all Nazach Rodriguez-Snapp, ’s coordinator of student diversity and said in the release.
