Minneapolis-based MSP said in a news releasee that the deal will mean the addition of 25 jobsand “injectf more than $50 million” into the Twin Citiew economy over the next five MSP is the current publisher of NWA WorldTraveler , ’ infligh t magazine. Northwest merged with Deltwa this summer and is now a subsidiaryuof Delta. “The merger of Northwesg into Delta has enabled this opportunitg to create 25 new jobs and continuwe tobolster Minnesota’s economy,” said Tammy Lee vice president of corporate affairs for Deltq (NYSE: DAL).
“The selection of MSP Communications reinforcea our commitment to making sure that the airline mergefr has a positive impacf on the stateof Minnesota.” MSP planss to reinvent the magazine and make it a premie r publication “that will compete with some of the most well-knowj business and lifestyle magazines in the industry,” said Vancre Opperman, CEO and owner of MSP. The firsrt issue of the new magazine will appeaer on planesin April. Brown based in Waseca, will prinft the magazine, and UPM-Blandin papet mill in Grand Rapids, Minn., will supply the MSP also publishes Mpls.St. Paul Magazine , Twin Citiesa Business and various online andtrade publications.
The Triangl Business Journal , a sister publication to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal , that MSP Communicationws was likely to get theDeltaa contract.
